Barefoot Pilates runs small group Pilates classes in Stapleford (5 miles south of Cambridge).

The classes flow through a series of clearly defined and accessible exercises. There is an emphasis on increasing your own awareness of movement in order to move more freely.

The exercises are designed to help weak tummies, stiff backs and sticky joints and can be adapted to suit all abilities. Tight areas are loosened and weak areas are strengthened, leading to a healthier back and neck, released joints and a more graceful posture. The classes provide a breathing space in the week leaving you mentally refreshed, physically energised and with a growing sense of self knowledge.

Group sizes are limited to 12 people to allow individual feedback and each half term block offers a structured progression of exercises. For those with restricted or painful movements I provide adaptations that work towards restoring normal, pain free function.

My overall aim is to help you rediscover the joy of natural movement. Come and try a class!
